Public
relations program and awareness class under the leadership of Thrissur Rural
District Police. The first leg of the public relations program started in
Kodungallur sub-division where Mrs. Aishwarya Dongre IPS, Head of Police,
Thrissur Rural District, interacted directly with the public. The first public
relations program started in the district with the participation of
representatives of various residence associations in Kodungallur sub-division.
On 09.06.2022 at 4 o'clock Thrissur Rural District Police Chief Smt. Aishwarya
Dongre IPS inaugurated the Public relations programme organized at Kodungallur
Durbar Hall. To ensure the safety and security of life and property of the
people, the various projects devised and implemented by the police department
are related to implementation in collaboration with the public, to make the
police-public relationship more warm and transparent, to take initiative by
residential associations to install CCTV in residential areas, and to adopt
safety measures when children use internet / social media. Actions taken by
Thrissur Rural District Police and Hon’ble. District Police Chief explained.
Before the event, cyber awareness class, explanation about Janamytri safety
scheme and self-defence training for women and children were also organized.
